2023 International Week for the Deaf
On September 30, 2023, ESS Creative and Legal Foundation and FUWAVITA celebrated the 2023 International Week for the Deaf together. Erick Mukiza, ESS director, was honored to be a guest of honor.
ESS Creative and Legal Foundation and FUWAVITA are committed to providing legal services to deaf women entrepreneurs and advancing the benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to the deaf community in Tanzania.
Access to justice for Deaf women entrepreneurs
Deaf women entrepreneurs face many challenges, including limited access to legal services and information. ADR can provide a more accessible and affordable way for deaf women to resolve disputes without going to court.
ESS Creative and Legal Foundation and FUWAVITA are working together to raise awareness of ADR among deaf women entrepreneurs and to provide them with the support they need to use ADR effectively. They are also developing ADR mechanisms that are specifically designed for the deaf community.
During the International Week for the Deaf, ESS Creative and Legal Foundation and FUWAVITA reaffirm their commitment to supporting deaf women entrepreneurs and to making ADR more accessible to the deaf community in Tanzania.
