ESS Creative and Legal Foundation continues to gain the trust of the Judiciary of Tanzania as a model institution for inclusive mediation and community empowerment.

On October 14, 2025, Hon. Mohamed Burhani, Senior Resident Magistrate at the District Court of Ilala – Kinyerezi, and a respected expert in mediation, recommended Pardon Benjamin, a Law School student on field attachment at the Judiciary, to visit ESS and learn how we identify, empower, and integrate community leaders into Tanzania’s justice system and mediation hub.

During his visit, Pardon confirmed that the challenges ESS addresses at the community level are the same issues he observed in his fieldwork —highlighting the role ESS plays in community-based mediation and formal justice systems.

This gesture by the Judiciary reflects confidence in ESS Creative and Legal Foundation as a trusted partner in building the capacity of upcoming mediators and shaping the future of accessible justice in Tanzania.
