ESS Creative and Legal Foundation is proud to announce that its Executive Director, Mr. Erick Mukiza, who is an Accredited Mediator, was among the recipients of the ADR Stakeholders’ Recognition Award 2025, an honor presented by the Judiciary of Tanzania through the High Court Mediation Centre.

This recognition marks Mr. Mukiza’s second consecutive award, following a similar honor received in 2024, underscoring his sustained commitment and impact in advancing inclusive Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and mediation in Tanzania. His work has focused on promoting access to justice for underserved communities, particularly at the village and sub-village levels, and for groups traditionally excluded from the justice system, such as deaf and hard-of-hearing persons, through capacity building, innovation, and strong collaboration with the Judiciary, the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, and ADR stakeholders.
The ADR Stakeholders’ Recognition Award is presented to individuals and institutions that have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the promotion of mediation and amicable dispute resolution in line with the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania and the National Vision 2050. Receiving this award for the second time reflects continued trust and recognition of ESS Creative and Legal Foundation’s role in strengthening mediation as a foundation for justice with dignity.
ESS Creative and Legal Foundation also proudly congratulates Ms. Aneth Gerana Isaya, Founder of FUWAVITA and a member of the Governing Board of ESS Creative and Legal Foundation, who was likewise recognized at the 2025 Awards Ceremony. Her recognition highlights her dedication to social justice, community empowerment, and the advancement of inclusive justice initiatives.
